Garden City, NY – Black Dog Venture Partners will host their New York VC Fast Pitch Conference on Thursday, April 3, at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. The event is an opportunity for companies and entrepreneurs to pitch and network with venture capitalists, angels and accredited investors from around the country.
Over the last 12 years, Black Dog Venture Partners have hosted more than 60 VC Fast Pitch events around the country raising over $100 million for entrepreneurs. This New York-based event will feature many investors and speakers including Laurits Just of Flippa Invest, who is a partner of the event. Flippa Invest is a new fundraising platform that offers online businesses a way to raise growth capital from the world’s biggest network of experienced business operators and investors.

The agenda for the event includes:
- Opening remarks from Scott Kelly ’86 and investor introductions
- 5 minute company presentations followed by 5 minutes of questions from the investor panel
- Special guest presentations
- 1-minute fast pitch session
- Fireside chat and Q&A with investor panel

The New York VC Fast Pitch Conference will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Adelphi’s Ruth S. Harley University Center, on the first floor, rooms 112-115. Admission to this event is free for all Adelphi students, staff, alumni and VIPs, but registration is required. All other participants can register and purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
